About
Following our really successful 'Wildlife Safari' in the summer the New Hinksey School Association is running a 'Spooky Safari' over the weekend of the 31st October - 1st November. All money raised will be for the New Hinksey Primary School.
Due to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, children will not be able to go 'Trick or Treating' so we wanted to create a safe activity for them and the local community and at the same time raise money for the School Association. As in the summer we are creating a 'Spooky Safari Walk' where a map will be available so that brave explorers can view the spooky artwork created on their walk around the neighbourhood. Children can dress up and walk around with their parents in their bubble, and if the parents want to they can give them 'treats' each time they see one of the displays. Just watch out for the ghosts, ghouls, and witches!
How to take part
Throughout the weekend of the 31st October - 1st November families from New Hinksey Primary School and those living in the New Hinksey and Grandpont areas of Oxford are invited to make 2D and 3D 'spooky displays'. These can be pictures or models and will be displayed in their windows and outside their houses for you to view on your 'Spooky Safari Walk'.
We hope that you will join us in coming to see these displays and will make a donation, using the link below. From 27th October to 3rd November any donation made will be matched by LocalGiving up to the value of £70!
Proceeds from the New Hinksey Association Spooky Safari Walk will go to the New Hinksey School Association, a registered charity which supports the education of children at New Hinksey Primary School. From 27th October to 3rd November any donation made will be matched by LocalGiving up to the value of £70!
